Made from solid cypress, a naturally rot and decay-resistant wood, and hand-painted. Side flips out for easy cleaning. Sealed with a commercial grade UV protector for long-lasting beauty.
The Birdie Abode is the perfect birdhouse for bluebirds, downy woodpeckers, chickadees, wrens, titmice, and nuthatches.

Cypress is naturally regenerating. When a tree is harvested, the stump automatically regenerates a new sapling; saplings also sprout from the root system of a healthy adult tree. While this helps protect cypress from over cutting, we take green a step further and purchase only cypress that has been harvested in accordance with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) guidelines. More importantly, we only use pieces of lumber 4 to 6 ft long, which would otherwise be chipped and burned. These pieces are all kiln-dried.
