Our goal is to bring to our customers the best replacement liners found in the market. We specify a minimum thickness of 10mm.
The soft, brown coco fibers, are a natural by-product from coconut farming. Our liners are manufactured in Sri Lanka (Ceylon).
Molded liners are formed as a sort of tub with latex from the rubber plant and are formed to fit our hayrack type planters. When they first arrive, they are generally very stiff and may stick up above your planter's rim. This is a good thing, because as time passes, the coco fibers relax into baskets. This will happen with all coco liners, so if it fits immediately at your rim, once it relaxes, you will have a gap between the top of your planter and the top of your liner allowing water and soil to escape. That's why we specify an additional 1/2" depth to all our molded liners.
We also offer needle punched liners which are a punched weave of fibers. Needle punched liners are pre-cut to fit our baskets. Examples of these types of liners are our GLF series of hanging basket liners, our tiered planter liners. Our coco fiber rolls are also needle punched and do not have any latex for molding. Rolls may be cut to fit any size basket.
FAQ:
Question:
Answer:
The dimensions listed for our coco liners are the dimensions of the baskets in which they fit. The actual liners may be slightly smaller.
For instance, a 24" window hayrack liner may actually measure 23" across the back rather than 24". The other measurements we give for the window hayrack liners are the depth, which are measured top to bottom on the back. The width is measured back to front across the top.
To measure for round basket liners, measure from side to side across the top for the diameter and from top to bottom for the depth.
