BenchSmith is an American owned and operated fine outdoor furniture company with its main workshop located in historic Bucks County just outside Philadelphia in Warrington, Pennsylvania. Since 1992, our mission has been to build outdoor furniture of timeless quality and craftsmanship that is both long-lasting and a superior value. BenchSmith offers a line of classic design outdoor furniture for individual homeowners. Additionally, BenchSmith custom crafts a wide range of special order teak furniture that is built to individual customer design and size requirements. BenchSmith has custom built furniture for prominent local and national architects and landscape designers, as well as for some of the most recognizable corporate and educational institutions in the country.

To craft our furniture, BenchSmith combines centuries-old woodworking techniques with the very latest computer controlled woodworking machinery. The result: Teak furniture of the highest quality that is built to last, with precise fit and finish characteristics that will be enjoyed for many years to come. BenchSmith's growing customer list includes St. John's University, The Children's Museum of Indianapolis, and W. Atlee Burpee & Co.

Our outdoor furniture comes with a 50-Year Warranty against workmanship and decay. Assembly required. All furniture is shipped in its natural state and will weather to a beautiful gray over time. If you prefer to keep your garden furniture looking new, with an unweathered appearance, then we suggest you oil your furniture once a year with a teak oil. One pint will cover one average bench with two applications. One quart will cover two-three benches with two applications. You can also restore your furniture to its unweathered appearance with a teak cleaner. Cleaner is best applied with a brass bristle brush.

All furniture requires assembly. Our pieces are assembled into a few large sections and packed in a box that can ship via common carrier. Comes with epoxy and dowels. A rubber hammer is very helpful in assembly.
