Overview

Helix is an outdoor garden kinetic sculpture. It has two independent revolving spiral arms that use copper "leaves" to capture even gentle breezes. The arms move in opposite directions. Its movement is reminiscent of undulating seaweed as it takes on a very graceful motion in the wind.

Made entirely of brass, copper and stainless steel - all materials that will not rust. All joints are silver-brazed by hand for extraordinary strength. Precision miniature stainless steel ball bearings are used at all pivot points for friction-free movement.

Sculpture measures 18" in diameter and 38" tall.  May be purchased on a small base or with a 4' long ground pole.

The ground pole is a 4' long, 3/4" diameter heavy-walled brass pole that is driven directly into the ground. The pole is pointed at one end for ease of installation. Once installed, the sculpture is simply slid into the open end of the pole and secured with a provided stainless steel set screw.
